Sometimes You Have To Freeze Thaw

That last piece is interesting. Any chance of tapping or freezing off the rest of the covered area?

Fossil hunting is easy -- they don't run away when you shoot at them!

Here are three more that I found opened today. I is amazing how much broken pieces and outer coverings of concretions are left in the bucket. The last 5 gallon bucket that I went through, contained about a 1/4 bucket full of garbage. I try my best at the time of the freezing to get the garbage off, but the freezing really does the job. Well enough of my complaints, here are the fossils. These are my favorite types of flora to find.

Alethopteris serlii

Annularia sphenophylloides

Annularia radiata and I believe a small Neuropteris basal leaf. Right hand piece.
