Needle-like teeth from Rhamphorhynchus are found regularly in Solnhofen limestone quarries.

Here you can see a rare pterosaur tooth from an unknown pterosaur species. The tooth is 22 mm long.

Maybe someone specialized in upper jurrasic pterosaurs can determine the species?

This Anaethalion most propably died as a result of his last meal. The bait (crab) was nearly half of the predator's size.

very cool fossils, I love the Solnhofen-Fossils, too. One of the best sites on the world to find supernice vertebrate-fossils

The plio-tooth is fantastic, rare

first moment it looks more like a ptero-claw to me. Surface structure looks more like tooth

I think its from a huge Rampho. We have a big one with similar tooth. I will post pics next time, just in the lab to finish. Takes time, fragile one...

but, I show a pic (sorry for the bad quality, mobilphone, bad light, bad day) with the position of a similar teeth (marked, similar size to yours) in this specimen. Lenght is approx. the same, bit smaller. Hope to finish this nice fossil in April, think it will take more than 100 hours to finish
