jeanbar
I found this on the shore of lake Ontario in youngstown new york. I was wanting to know what these white marks are. One looks like a tooth and a couple others look like spoons. On another rock is a small heart. Thank you in advanced for your insight Edited September 25, 2022 by jeanbar Typos
debivort
The first two look like coral to me, perhaps Cladopora. The third is cross sections of shells, perhaps gastropods.

Mark Kmiecik
Bits and pieces of ancient sea creatures. Bryozoans, corals and shells. Very common around the shoreline of the Great Lakes. Look around. You should be able to find many more, and in much better condition. You should be able to find hundreds in a couple of hours if you concentrate on looking. Mark. Fossil hunting is easy -- they don't run away when you shoot at them!
