Dino Dad 81
This has the size and J-shape cross section of a dromie premax. It also has the protruding mesial carina that you can see from a distal view. What do you think? Hell creek formation, Powder River co, Montana CH: 14.8mm CBL: 7.0mm CBW: 5.3mm Mesial serration density: 4.66/mm Distal serration density: 3.20/mm Thanks!! I They are all different, Saurornitholestes premaxillary teeth do not have a J shape. Dromaeosaurus is a Campanian age Dromaeosaurid that is different which is the illustration you are showing it also has a DSDI <1. So my comments are the same as those on your previous posts. Dino Dad 81
But Dromaeosaurus is thought to be the closest known relative to Dakotaraptor (not that I'm claiming this is Dakotaraptor, but it certainly isn't Acheroraptor). Also, is there any DSDI data on Dromaeosaurus premax teeth in particular? The DSDI on this Dromaeosaurus premax posted in JoeS's collection appears to have a DSDI greater than 1. It also resembles the tooth I've posted here very well, although I wouldn't say the one posted here is necessarily the analogous position since Joe's tooth looks a little more extreme.
