Tyrannosaurus Rex Tooth?

Hello!

 

Is this a Tyrannosaurus Rex tooth? Found in Hell Creek Formation of Garfield County, MT

Tooth measures 1.75 inches, see picture with caliper

Sure looks like a T-rex but like Dino Dad 81 said need to see the base to confirm.

 

FYI  - Dinosaur Teeth are not measured on the diagonal like shark teeth

it's CH in the illustration

I added a picture of the base, not sure if it'll help because I unable to see the root due to matrix on the bottom of the tooth
