ID type of bone?

Found washed out from a river bank in Northern Alberta. Wondering if there were any guesses as to what type of bone it could be, I was thinking some sort of Scapula? Might not be able to tell from the photo angle but its nearly completely flat except for the round joint at the end.

I don't think there is enough there to make any kind of determination of what that is from.

Scapula is a decent guess, given that there only seems to be one articulated surface. It was not a young animal, the epiphysis is fully fused, so it was something small. Rabbit, raccoon, mink, weasel, etc etc. Pics from the articulate end might help, but it would be hard to tell the species with just that piece.

Okay thanks for clarification, Edmonton is mid province and in dino country depending on where found..   Like others have said its pretty hard to positively assign it to anything.   However it does has some characteristics of a theropod Digit V metatarsal
