While we enjoy helping folks identify fossil (and non-fossil) material brought here to the forum, I don't believe there is much more to add to this one as there is nothing more to add to the identification as a quartzite cobble. Further discussion of this topic will not change the diagnosis nor will it change the mind of the OP and so this topic too will come to an end here.
