TheCreekendWarrior
Been at it for about a year now and I try to hit the creeks at least twice/month if I can help it. The "loose" pics are either newer finds that haven't made their way into the display yet, or finds that have their own display. Most of these were rescued from the Gainesville area. Some are from the Peace River & Joshua Creek, as well as Manasota, Caspersen, Venice & Fort Clinch beaches. I was also lucky enough to discover a previously unknown spot VERY close to home, while scouting one day! Dr. Hulbert (w/ UF) confirmed it is a new spot, but was reluctant to check it out as none of my initial finds were extinct species... I have since found horse teeth at that location and can't wait for water levels to go back down!!! Hoping to add a few new species to my collection on my upcoming trip to GMR & one of the Summerville creeks (not sure which one yet but would love to find my first Angi & GW)... the GW in my pics was actually found by my Grandfather in Panama in the 70s! Thanks for looking : )
Fin Lover
Nice collection! I've found very few GWs in the Summerville area (and no nice ones), but plenty of angy (a lot of incomplete but a handful of really nice ones). Summerville has been very picked over for the summer and then after Ian, but hopefully the cooler weather will help with that.
Meatasaurus93
Impressive collection, especially for only 1 year. Love the shark teeth and gator material. What does that big meg measure?
Tidgy's Dad
Very interesting indeed and nicely displayed. Thank you for sharing.

Doctor Mud
Nice! That orange tooth is a gem! Is that a juvenile Meg anterior tooth. Looks more like that than GW? I don’t think great whites have a bourlette like that.

I think the GW is near the Makos but I can't pick out which one is the GW, lol.

Megs are very rare here in New Zealand so always love seeing them. 1
TheCreekendWarrior
Yes, the Golden guy is a meg and thank you! I've actually been offered a lot of money for it and turned that down because I know the money would be gone in a flash! Here's the GW that's hiding up top, between the Makos and the Hemis... 20220630_225244.mp4
