Din0
Hey guys I’m kinda new here. I found this fossil a couple of months ago and I need help identifying it. Any clue about what it is??
Fin Lover
Welcome to the forum. Please provide a general location where it was found. Also, try sitting the object on a table or other solid background and take more photos, as the object was blurry in your posted photo. Thanks! 1 Fin Lover My favorite things about fossil hunting: getting out of my own head, getting into nature and, if I’m lucky, finding some cool souvenirs. Din0
Hey guys I found this fossil at Ladonia Texas park and I’m wondering what it is. It’s pretty small and lightweight and about 1 inch on my ruler. If you guys have any ideas or suggestions about what this is let me know!
ThePhysicist
Hello and welcome to the forum! This looks like a piece of marine reptile bone, likely mosasaur. 1 1 "Argumentation cannot suffice for the discovery of new work, since the subtlety of Nature is greater many times than the subtlety of argument." - Carl Sagan "I was born not knowing and have had only a little time to change that here and there." - Richard Feynman Collections: Hell Creek Microsite | Hell Creek/Lance | Dinosaurs | Sharks | Squamates | Post Oak Creek | North Sulphur River | Lee Creek | Aguja | Permian | Devonian | Triassic | Harding Sandstone Instagram: @thephysicist_tff
