Bone fragment found in water of Post Oak Creek, Sherman, Texas. One end is rounded, where as the other forms an approx. 90 degree angle.

It appears to be a heavily worn bone fragment, but I can't say more than that.  Typically, it takes at least one complete end of a long bone to be able to narrow down a species ID because the different articulations are how we tell the difference.  Unfortunately, since both ends of this piece are broken, it's unlikely anyone can help determine exactly what bone it is or what species it's from.
