Mosasaurhunter
Hi, This was found in a field in Macon county Georgia. It appears to be some type of bone and it’s in what appears to be limestone and is probably upper Cretaceous or lower Tertiary in age. Can anyone help me identify this? Lone Hunter
Maybe limestone in suggestive shape of bone but does not appear to be bone to me.

Hi, I decided to check if it was limestone, I used hydrochloric acid in a 1.0M solution. Tested on known limestone and it reacted as control. Tested on the possible bone/limestone, and there was no reaction. So it couldn’t be limestone.
