Albertosaurus Tooth in Bone

Looking at buying this piece, curious if it’s a tooth stuck in bone or a jaw piece. Albertosaurus tooth from the horseshoe canyon fm. Sorry had nothing on me to measure size.

Very interesting that does look like a big theropod tooth, you can see the enamel.   Is the tooth in a jaw bone, looks a bit like frill?   If it's from the Drumheller area then yes its Albertosaurus otherwise it's a Tyrannosaurid.

It is from the drumheller area yes. Does look like frill, that’s what I was curious about, whether it’s jaw or stuck in another bone like frill or something else.

So Albertosaurus

Unusual to say the least.  It does look more like frill than a jawbone but would have to hold it to be sure.
