dolevfab Posted November 23, 2022 Share Posted November 23, 2022 Hello everyone , I have been trying to identify this fossil for a while now, nobody seems to know. This is a fin spine from the upper cretaceous (campanian) of israel. Recovered from phosphorite rich marine deposits. It reminds me of hybodontiformes, but its different as it lacks their characteristic serrations, and by that time period they should have gone extinct in the ocean. Any help would be incredible!!
