Reedops cephalotes hamlagdadianus  has more eye lenses (8-9 per vertical lens file) and more vertical lens files (25-27).

A photo showing all the lens files will assist with a more precise ID. mail?url=http%3A%2F%2Fmail.yimg.com%2Fok%2Fu%2Fassets%2Fimg%2Femoticons%2Femo71.gif&t=1670116167&ymreqid=23281213-8dc1-3cff-1c85-ed0019017900&sig=PBi.5aD5ABoSeBK.D._cuA--~D

I never dared to ask, but what are the numbers inside the facets ? How do you read that ?

The numbers indicate the lens frequency variability. The diagram of Reedops cephalotes hamlagdadianus utilized a sample size of 11 specimens. The smaller numbers indicate the number of individuals that have an additional lens or lenses in a vertical lens file. The anterior file on the left shows that one specimen out of 11 had 7 lenses instead of 6. The tenth file shows that 4 specimens had 9 lenses instead of 8. Files 26 and 27 show a single example indicating that this species usually has a total of 25 vertical lens files.
