Already purchased it but if it's fake I will cancel the sale. Thanks in advance for the help everyone!! I wasn't aware how many fakes were out there of this stuff.. Lots of crappy people out there..

Why not? If they're clearly selling fakes, I think I'm justified saying they're the scum of the earth.. No different then stealing from someone.

We have rules here for legal reasons.  Please familiarize yourself with them.  Say what you want about anyone elsewhere online.  Here, we have guidelines.

Unfortunately the market is full of these claws.  Very appealing to collectors because of the hype around Spinosaurus and brings out shady side of this or any industry where fast money can be made.

 

There are good claws out there, big one the size of yours exist but will fetch a much higher price.  Use this forum to provide you an opinion before you purchase and we will be glad to help.

This is a very wise way to approach all fossil buys.  There are lots of legit companies and sellers, but when you are trying to buy blind over the internet, its VERY difficult to know who is legit without a past history.  It really helps to make yourself as knowledgeable as possible about the types of fossils you want to buy.
