Hell creek ribs and possible carpal

Hello everyone, I recently finished preparing some ribs that I posted in the fossil preparation category and am having some trouble IDing them.

One is fairly complete and the other 2 are fragments. They were found grouped together in Garfield County, Montana on a ranch. I think they resemble some Thescelosaurus ribs that I've seen in some papers but not enough to be confident in assigning an ID. Here are front and back views of each rib individually.

I also found numerous bits of other bones in the jacket one of them being what I think is a carpal of something but haven't had time to do much digging. Here are some top and bottom views.

I know you've said ribs are tricky to ID @Troodon but if you have any insight it would be very appreciated. Thank you all for your time and help.

Looks more like Ed or Trike ribs.  The partial Thesc ribs I have found had a much different profile, and were much smaller.

Sure about the size? the scale is in cm, not inches.

The only ribs I can be sure of are the ones on a plate in front of me :D.  The profile of the head does looks like Thescelosaurus sp.

For comparison yours and a published (Gilmore, Osteology Thesc) cervical of a Thescelosaurus about the same size.  Head shaped a bit different but that's positional.

Here are a couple partials that I quickly shot with my camera you compare against, about the same size as yours.

Thank you  @Mahnmut. The scale is in centimeters i should've stated that. @hadrosauridae have you collected ed and trike ribs this size before? @Troodon

I couldn't agree more haha. Those do look very similar though. Could they possibly be pachycephalosaur? I know that those look similar enough it would be improbable to tell the difference at least to my eye.

Missed the carpal.

I initially thought it was a carpal digit IV-2 of an Edmontosaurus but come away saying no.  Those carpal have dimples on both sides not the even texture of yours.

If it was found with the other Thesc material it could be ones of those hand bones.

What do you base that on?

Hard to say,  I dont think anything was yet published on Sandy.   BHI replica of Sandy with known and inferred ribs.  I go with what we know and is more common, it can always be changed.

I am not basing it on anything scientifically speaking, I should've said they look similar to me. I agree there aren't dimples like that on the one there are dimples with that drawing the bone resembles a distal phalanges to me.

I think you did a great job identifying these pieces:  Dinosaur ribs.

(I don't know but I would be surprised if there were much difference if any between pachy and thesc ribs).
