Is this genuine praying mantis amber? The photo is hard to see, but please forgive me. Praying mantis in a barmite egg If anyone knows, please let me know. Thank you so much to everyone on the forums.

I assume it's seller watermarks/information

Is it just me or does that not look like a praying mantis? Looks like some sort of beetle larva.

I agree that it doesn't look like a praying mantis.  The head/eyes are way off and, while they could just be folded strangely, I don't think the front legs look right either.

I agree it's not a mantis. I'm at work now but if I get a chance when I get home I'll try to remember to look in my books...

Wow, that is an interesting one! Doesn't look like a mantis to me, not quite sure what it would be though. Definitely a neat piece!
