Old Collection #2: Lots of Brachiopods

MrBones

Recommended Posts

Hello again everyone,

I received an old collection from a married couple who weren't interested in it anymore. Some of the items were purchased in 1905! They got them from the man's father who was Dutch. Unfortunately, many of the fossils did not come with their labels, and the labels I do have are written in Dutch, and in cursive...

I would be grateful for any useful information you can provide (id's, locations, ages, etc.).

If the photos aren't clear enough just tell me the number so that I can send a better image.

1.Lots of these brachiopods

You may want to put numbers on the fossils so we can keep track (edit post and put numbers between the images).

Ah! I forgot about that.

It seems a lot of the labels have been misplaced over the years, hehe. Don't know how they managed to mistake a brachiopod for a belemnite though!
