Nuthetes destructor, indet theropod or something else?

Hello,

I wanted to ask about this partial claw I came across, identified as a Nuthetes destructor dromeosaurid hand claw found in Hastings, Wealden of Sussex of the UK. It measures 0.5 cm. From what I can tell this species has only been described from teeth and partial jaw fragments, and @Troodon told me that Nuthetes being a tooth taxon is not even described from this locality. He also wasn't confident that it is even dinosaur/theropod.

What could it be?

Are we sure it’s a claw ? The streaks on it seem strange to me, it makes me think more of a worn bone, but it’s not my specialty, I might as well wait for the master in dinos @Troodon

In my PM I indicated that the pitting and blood groove don't fit a typical theropod claw.   No clue what it is being so small why he posted it here.

Oh I never considered it might not be a claw at all. I wanted to provide as much context including @Troodon 's assessment, since I thought if it's not a theropod claw, someone else might be able to tell if it might be from some other reptile or bird entirely. But it seems no one really has a good idea on what it is after all.

I don't know anything about the location that you mentioned, but what is the age?  From Cenozoic material, I often see things that look similar that are casts of crab ( probably decapod is more proper) claws.  I don't think you showed a broken end view, so I'm not sure if the material looks uniform throughout or not.
