alahusky
We need your help. My husband and I went out to look for shark teeth in the bitter cold and came across this today (December 24th) Can anyone help identify? My limited vet tech knowledge I believe it's a piece of vertebrae. Location- Venice Beach, Florida Edited December 24, 2022 by alahusky
Meganeura
Looks like a vertebral process to me - probably mammalian. 3 Fossils? I dig it.
Brandy Cole
I agree that it appears to be a spinous process from a vertebra. Vertebra are hard to pin down to species even when they're mostly complete. Unfortunately, I think it is unlikely that there is enough here to get a more specific ID than that.
