Newbie here. I'm a little suspicious of this ammonite. Is it real?

From these pictures, it looks real to me. Maybe a Perisphinctes sp. ?

Pictures are quite blurry. Hard to make any reasonable determination from blurry pictures.

Try taking them in natural light, and back away from the fossil a bit more.

take from directly above the fossil, both sides please.

Did you get any information with it?

If it feels heavy-ish for its size it is probably real. Looks like the Jurassic ammonites from Madagascar that you see in a lot of rock shops.  Maybe has a bit more shine on it than many, but they like to do that sometimes.

From what I can see on the blurry pics, the pattern looks very similar to a couple of ammonites I sold a few months back.
If yours looks similar to mine, odds are really good it's real.
For what it's worth - I paid a trade price for mine.... no way is it worth faking one for the money I paid for a real one!
