Snake Head?

I think this is a snake head? 

I found it in northwest Missouri around Grand River. 

It's approx 1.5" long, 1.25" wide (widest point) and head area is .5" tall.

It is rock with some quartz in there.

Cmon, you're pulling our leg, aren’t you??  Haha. This is very obviously a coral. It is a fossil though!  Thanks for posting.

No, I'm kind of new in the fossil dept.

I'm learning as I go.

So, this is a coral?

OK, that’s fine, we love to have new folks come here willing to learn new stuff. Yes, this is a coral.  The first three pictures show the cross section where you can see the tabulae. The fourth picture shows the top where you can see the individual living chambers.
