Paleo Modeling

So, here's the big question: Do either of you ever sell copies of your models "private", or is this strictly by commission?

Either way, for me. I wouldn't have a problem building a model on request if I thought there was a market for it.

Sara.... Thanks.... If I ever get the urge to try I shall ask....I did see a trick on Youtube to 'debubble' silicone by allowing it to run through a small hole in a narrow stream into another cup to catch it.... the idea being the narrow run is to thin to contain a bubble....But its possibly time consuming and like you say, not the bit you enjoy....

Nick.... Its looking really good.... you should continue with your adventure into paleosculpting...

Cheers Steve... And Welcome if your a New Member... :)

Deinotherium was an ugly beast indeed...

1/48th scale, so pretty small. Next might be a Titanothere/Brontothere bust based on the life-size Megacerops reconstruction by Erwin S. Christman.

The Titanothere has been molded and will be in production soon (4 have been made so far). Disregard the bubbles in the Titanothere casts. This problem has since been figured out. The Einiosaurus sculpt is done and will be molded soon.

This sculpting stuff is addicting once you get the hang of it! T-Rex vs Edmontosaurus is next, with a sabertooth on the massive wishlist. B)

Nick, I'm speechless!

You've crafted these, created molds, and are actually in production!

Thanks for the compliments, guys! The 1/10 Titanothere is now available on the website on the paleo-art page. Members of this forum with more than 50 posts get a discount. The 1/15 Einiosaurus bust should be available within a week, and a 1/30 Tyrannosaurus full-body will be available within a month or two.
