Wrangellian
I wouldn't think my fossils were the first thing a burglar would pilfer, but maybe I'm wrong about that.

A friend of my house was burglarized and they just took electronics. Ignored the tons of $$$$ fossils .
Uncle Siphuncle
If someone burgles your fossils, there is a good chance they are known within this community, or they gleaned irresistible info from the beans you spilled on this forum or on social media. So if you must post high dollar fossil pics for all to see, you may also want to drop hints that you are happily retired or working from home, caressing your AR-10 in one hand while petting your Rottweiler with the other. Food for thought.
Wrangellian
That crossed my mind about spilling beans. But if I cut out showing off my collection, my participation on the Forum is reduced to almost nothing these days (trying to resist being a gadfly.) On the good side there is almost always someone here at home, and it's usually me.
Randyw
Most of the locations posted on here are at the city or state level. The few people on here who actually know my address are people i trust so I’m not really concerned about posting pics on here….. 1

I know for a fact that you have shed loads of fossils that I would be delighted to burgle. If I were that sort of chap.

The thief ignored all the fossis, money in a draw, my video and TV and took only my toaster and some sliced bread. Must have been hungry.
