Encounter with a Carcharodontosaurus

Even though I like and support the development of portraying dinosaurs as real animals instead of monsters, it is hard to deny that an encounter with a big theropod must have been a pretty scary experience.

Hi, good start!

What I miss is depth, maybe experimenting with shadow and highlights could help there.

Best Regards, J

Thanks for the feedback! It was in fact a deliberate choice to show the entire head as if it was brighty lit to really set it apart from the rest of the body. But perhaps my idea did not come accross as I envisioned and I agree the head does not have a lot of depth because of my decision.

I quite quickly (I do not have much time for hobby drawings these days, unfortunately) made this new version with darker shadows and some additional highlights.
