tekknoir Posted January 28, 2023 Share Posted January 28, 2023 I picked up a stone which had a nice crinoid segment imprint on it. Under closer investigation, I found other microorganisms as well. Any idea what they could be? Crinoid is 2mm and the microorganisms are 1mm at the largest. Found in Doña Ana county, New Mexico. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Seems like that's when the really tiny fusulinids lived, so that's what I'd guess. It's just a random surface find so I don't have much else to date it by, unfortunately.
