rocket
We got a nice and original claw from morocco. I think it´s a spino foot-claw, but I am not 100% sure. Little bit eroded, so it is not as high as it should be. Has some color and lasure on it, so for the moment the color seems to be a little bit different on some places. Has some filled cracks, but not mounted Size is approx. 9x4x2,5 cm (around 3.6 x 1.6 x 1 ") What do you think? RJB
I cant tell you what it is but I can tell you that it has been put back together. I dont like their added matrix/fill work but it does look like a claw of some sort
Troodon
Interesting all I have to say. I've see worn claws from Spinosaurids and they don't look like this unless its super eroded.. Looks more fake than real. The depressions on the bottom are just not right but blood groove look good. Let's see what others say @LordTrilobite
LordTrilobite
I agree with Troodon. It doesn't look right. I think it's carved bone. Not a claw. Avoid. 1 1 1 Olof Moleman AKA Lord Trilobite

hadrosauridae
I'm not familiar enough with Spinosaurids to say if the form is correct or not, but just looking at the images, I see multiple bits of material glued together (not just a single broken fossil repaired). Some of the features are clearly shaped by hand and not original. The typical Moroccan sand and glue "filler" is used to hide the worst details of the work, its never left there by a preparator. Those aspects alone lead me to believe this is one more faked fossil. Edited January 29, 2023 by hadrosauridae "There is no shortage of fossils. rocket
Thanks for your comments. I will add more detail-pics next days. Some of the scratches on the surface came when the lasure was done away. I am pretty sure it is original, surface structure fits. Not easy with this claw... But, perhaps more pics and a uv-pic will help. Thanks in advance!
Troodon
The pictures you have are pretty good and UV light will only help if there is paint on the specimen

rocket
00:05, Tuesday, I was too slow, tried to post yesterday. So, good morning Add some UV-Pics the parts on the left view show not removed glue, so they are different in color. Will do next week
