Hi all. I found what I believe is a vertebra, but can't be 100% sure and what it may be from.

 

I found in Holden Beach, NC today buried in a foot of water near low tide

It looks like it might be a piece of a single vertebra. (Note the plural has an e at the end).  But the pix are a bit dark to see much.

Gotcha. I think my phone autocorrected it. I'll try to lighten them up and/or take different photos with better lighting. It's hard when it's not level.

I agree with the posters above that what would be the most helpful is additional pictures without glare.  It looks like it could be a vertebra, but the degree of wear and quality of the pictures makes it tough to say for sure.

The 3d is cool....  I still think it is a piece of a vert, but not much more can be said about it as it is both partial and waterworn.
