Howdy! I'm finding some beautiful stuff digging in the Glenshaw Formation of Allegheny and Beaver counties. Hoping to find out/confirm what they are. The limestone finds I believe are from the Brush Creek Limestone. As usual, all help is greatly appreciated, thanks!

Wilkingia and Petalodus ohioensis for sure for the two you called out.

For the Wilkingia you are looking down at the umbo for either valve (bottom right of the photo)

For Petalodus ohioensis, it is mostly the root there. The cutting edge on the crown is probably ejected somewhere.

Does it look like it fits here?

If you collected the rock at the same place, yes. I’ve collected quite a few with half on one rock and the other half on another. Another common occurrence is when you split a rock and spy the mold on one half. Panic sets in as you hope the other half is still intact somewhere.
