This was found on a South Carolina beach. The structure looked similar to horse teeth found in the area. However it is larger than what is usually found and very worn. Could be a rock?

Pic number 3 shows the surface of a Mammoth tooth! Great find! This would be a partial tooth.

You are in the right part of the country to find mammoth and mastodon teeth, props for posing multiple pictures, if it was just one the ID would have been tricky or impossible but the one clearly shows the plates that make up a mammoth tooth.  Cool fossil, based on the size of it in your hand would be about 10-20% of a large tooth, neat find.

Thanks for the information. I have no idea what fossils are common in this area. Tried the Rockd app but could never figure it out.
