Andrew85
Hello I found this many years ago in Eastern Ontario Canada. I had two at one time but one disappeared. Any ideas what it is? I haven't seen anything that looks similar. Thank You
digit
Welcome to the forum! Given your location I'm going to guess that anything you found dates back to around the Devonian age where most fossil material is from marine species. This rock does appear to contain fossil material (looks biological rather than geological). It also looks rather broken up and jumbled. My best guess would be some sort of bryozoan but we'll wait till some of out members who are more familiar with these types of fossils to weigh in on a possible ID. Cheers. -Ken
Kane
Bryozoan seems a good guess, and likely Ordovician in age given its finding in eastern Ontario. ...How to Philosophize with a Hammer
Rockwood
Someone needs to just call this a bryozoan.
