Rockwood
I notice that the term tooth is accepted, but are these technically teeth or denticles ?

I know someone who likes to correct me when I say rostral tooth. He prefers rostral denticle. My retort is usually that denticle means "little tooth". Some people will say vertebrate teeth are modified denticles. 2
