Well,  March has come in like a lion here in the North Eastern US. Spring is almost ready to be sprung, but winter is still trying to extend his stay.

With the eventual turn of the seasons, and current change of months,  it is once again time to celebrate a new crown bearer, a new Member of the Month. This month's winner by staff consensus is ....

Adam joined us back in 2015, nearly 8 years ago.  In that time, Adam has shown true Forum spirit in supporting the Forum, through contributing to it's myriad auctions to support the Forum.  He is a regular contributor of other good input and friendly to new members as well.

Adam, thanks for being here, and all you do for the Forum. We hope you take this opportunity to  tell us a bit more about yourself, and your journey to fossils, and the Forum.

On behalf of the Forum staff, ... Congratulations, and thanks again for all you do here, Adam!

Cheers,

Tim

Thanks everyone!  It's an honor to be picked.  I still feel like a novice most of the time with the amazing folks who share their immense wisdom on here.  I was a huge dinosaur fan as a kid and I have always enjoyed science.  Now with kids of my own who enjoy prehistoric animals my interest has rekindled.  My oldest who's turning 13 soon has said since he was 4 he wants to become a paleontologist.  So I stumbled upon this amazing forum looking for a place to take him to find a fossil or two.  So after 8 years here I am still learning and amazed by what our members find and share with the world on so many levels from trip reports to scientific research.

My favorite things about fossil hunting: getting out of my own head, getting into nature and, if I’m lucky, finding some cool souvenirs.
