Found in my customers yard with several others I have not cleaned but will add later.  This one is just too interesting. I tried to look online but couldn't find anything.  I even used Google lens but still wasn't able to get anywhere

Thx in advance for help

Might be a piece of a fossilized nautilus shell, but that's just a shot in the dark.

That's the second time today that i must agree with you Roger

I think it is too asymmetric to be from a nautiloid, and the shell portions are too thick (dissolved away in this specimen). I think this is from the hinge area of a bivalve. I’ve seen similar that others have identified as Spondylus or related.

I think Eric is right about this not being a nautiloid.  I also agree it's from a bivalve, but not the hinge area.

I believe this is a mold of caprinid rudist internal structures known as tabulae.  Rudists are reef building bivalves that wall off areas within their shell as they grow.  Over time, these chambers fill with sediment and can mimic many other fossils.

My first impression was a partial nautilus.  My second impression is a gastropod like the base of a conch.
