Cretaceous Goblin and Crow Shark Teeth, in North Mississippi

Rock Hound

Recommended Posts

My first ever trip to this location.  I gave it a go for a few hours today, and I managed to find a few fossils.  Nothing here that will blow people away; but I was "very thankful" that I was able to find fossils, without having any local knowledge.  It was a learning experience.

The location Information, is in the attached photographs.

You are right, about the shark teeth.  Thanks for chiming in.  Perhaps the other poster, was referring to the shells?

I meant to say Archeolamna, I have no idea why I said Paleo. I only mentioned that based off of a guide I was given at the park. I swear I am not delusional lol.

I will also mention that they could be Scapanorynchus upper lats, I am not an expert on the biota concerning this site.
