It's interesting to note that Providence Canyon in SW Georgia, while on a much smaller scale, formed in a matter of decades. But, it also doesn't have the Colorado River running through it.

Are you trying to imply that the Grand Canyon is 6000 years old. Just curious so I will know where you are coming from.

Link please. Does Providence Canyon cut though well indurated stone, or is it regolith.
