Dino Dad 81
Hi all, This tiny vert comes from the Lance formation in Weston co, Wyoming. It's about 0.25"x0.25"x0.25". I'm wondering if the relatively large pleurocoel suggests that it's a tiny dromie. For all I know, it's not even dinosaur.
Fossil Collect
It kinda looks like a very small champsosaurus vertebrae to me.

jpc
Fossil Collect is spot on. Not only is it a small champsosaur, but the texture tells me it is a very young one. Great find. The hourglass shape we see in your fifth photo is diagnostic of Ch verts. The pleurocoel is a bit large for champsosaurs, but I wonder if gets smaller as they age. Dino Dad 81
Thanks, @Fossil Collect and @jpc! Great call--when I look at the dromie examples I have there, they have a much more parallel appearance rather than hour glass.
