A sizeable mineral coming from the ever famous Graf roadcut that exposes the Elgin of the Maquoketa.

Im thinking calcite, but im gonna be honest I haven't a clue.

Hi,

 

I’m thinking more quartz if I’m looking at the sparkle and the break. Put a little vinegar in the corner. If it sparkles, it’s calcite (and you have to rinse it well). If it doesn’t sparkle, it’s quartz.
