I think what you see as leaf venation is actually cracks/growths and ribs from the positive portion of the outer spiral part of the fossil; this whole thing is the negative/imprint side of a concretion that had the fossil. It could be a gastropod but based on the ribbing and the outer spiral my first guess is ammonite. 1 4 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
