I was out in a nearby creek yesterday searching my newest honey hole when I pulled this up, at first I thought it was petrified wood, but then I thought I saw schreger lines. I'm not an expert so I'm getting it checked here. Thanks!

Ivory Identification Guide

 

Looks like mammoth ivory to me.

Those look like pronounced schreger lines to me, so I agree that it's tusk material.  Congrats on a great find!

Absolutely undeniably a piece of tusk! The Schreger lines are clearly identifiable!
