Very odd sauropod tooth

Fossil Collect

Recommended Posts

Hello I saw this tooth online. I am very confused by the shape of this tooth. Seller thinks it might be from a brachiosaurus. It looks more like a camarasaurus to me however. I've never seen a tooth like it before. It was collected in Moffat County Colorado and measures 1.49 inches.Load image into Gallery viewer, Probable Brachiosaurus Tooth, Morrison Formation.Load image into Gallery viewer, Probable Brachiosaurus Tooth, Morrison FormationLoad image into Gallery viewer, Probable Brachiosaurus Tooth, Morrison FormationLoad image into Gallery viewer, Probable Brachiosaurus Tooth, Morrison FormationLoad image into Gallery viewer, Probable Brachiosaurus Tooth, Morrison Formation

Hard enough to id complete teeth, tips of sauropods are extremely difficult.  Not sure how you can assign it to any specific sauropod
