Is this a fossil?

I was given this rock from my grandma and have no idea if it is a fossil or not. If it is what it is and how old? Thank you all in advance.

It looks like coral to me  so i think it is a fossil.  Its age maybe impossible to tell without knowing its origin

This doesn't look like a coral, to me.  I have no idea what it is, but I don't think it's a coral. :unsure:

Maybe something pyroclastic along the lines of pumice or tuff?

The holes might be sponge borings.
