Chemistry for Dino Soft Tissue Fossilization

Soft tissue blood vessels and cells from a Tyrannosaurus rex bone were discovered by Dr. Mary Schweitzer in 2004. Ever since, scientists have wondered how such soft tissues preserve into the fossil record. Finally, we have an answer, based on organic chemistry theory.
