This came from the Deese Group of central Oklahoma. It seems a little long for a conodont at 7 mm but it doesn't look familiar to me. Any ideas?

Branch of bryozoan with up being to the lower right?

My goal is to leave no stone or fossil unturned.

The site was awash in bryozoans but I couldn't see any pores on this so I couldn't be certain. There were lots of these Prismopora sp. including this one covered with an encrusting form that has tube-like pores which I haven't identified yet.

Maybe a piece of a crinoid holdfast?

They do take on a lot of odd shapes. I looked for evidence of stereom but don't always find it on all crinoid parts.

Doesn't look like conodont, bryozoan, crinoid or jaekelocarpus bit to me but i have no alternative ideas..

What is this composed of, calcite or is this residue after acid dissolution?

Very interesting whatever it turns out to be.

I agree, it looks like a bryozoan branch. Some bryozoans don't have zooids on the lower portions of their branches.
