ccharbs
I found this fossil in Alberta on the Wapiti river near Grande Prairie. I have seen quite a few over the years and decided to grab one that was laying on the shore near a bank that erodes more and more with each passing year. I was hoping someone may have be able to tell me something about this.
fossilhunter21
Welcome to TFF, @ccharbs! From the photos it looks the end of a bone. Cheers and Shalom, -Micah
Troodon
The deposits around Grande Prairie and the Wapiti River are typically from the Wapiti Formation which is early Campanian late Maastrichtian in age (80-68 mya). Dinosaur remains have been found there but are not common. If these bones eroded out of a bank its possible they are dinosaurian and may be scientifically important.
