Been there, done that. from my own mistakes of the past the advice to you: There is a huge illegal market in recent animal parts from Afrika. If its not obviously fossil, rather keep away. In my case it was advertised as a pleistocene cave find camelid jaw, and when it arrived it still got some few hairs on it and an intense stench that clearly said Anthropocene. If you can, try and get a refund.
