johnnyvaldez7.jv
Found this today in a spot I usually find Pleistocene material. I have no idea if it's a tooth, part of a tooth, or it has something to do with perhaps a turtle shell or fish??? Thanks for any help. It's 1.25 inches in length and .75 inches wide.
Brandy Cole
Mammoth milk tooth fragment? See https://www.google.com/search?client=ms-android-tmus-us-revc&q=mammoth+milk+tooth+harry+pristis&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwjF_tKM2ZP_AhUpTTABHfD4DxcQ0pQJegQIEhAB&biw=412&bih=766&dpr=2.63#imgrc=NrCv_XUgGcn0pM One way or another it definitely resembles mammoth enamel to me. 2

Harry Pristis
I agree, this is an enamel plate from a juvenile mammoth tooth. 2 http://pristis.wix.com/the-demijohn-page What seest thou else In the dark backward and abysm of time? ---Shakespeare, The Tempest
