SE Texas pair - Vert, Wood, or Toe Bones??

Found a pair of bones (I think) this morning. They look like bones and my 1st thought was perhaps toe bones or phalanges. They are mineralized...the larger one completely. Then I couldn't really find a match online so I started thinking it was similar in appearance to mosasaur verts I see them find online up in the NSR. But that's way up there in SE Texas speak. But then I thought perhaps it's wood. So I'm confused.  Every vertebra found so far has had a spinous process or a part where it was obvious one belonged or some other part. These are simple. Tail bone?

The larger we can call #1 is 1.8 inches or 47 mm in length.

Smaller #2 is 1 inch or 26 mm in length. Smaller has more of a 90 degree angle to it edge whereas the larger has a 45 degree angle. Smaller definitely has wear.

Thanks.

These appear to me to be stream-worn sections of deer antler.  One, if not both, is the antler base, so this is likely to be a shed antler.
