This tooth was found in Montgomery County, Alabama, and is about 70 million years old. Looking for an ID on the species.

I'm pretty sure its a lateral from a goblin shark but I'm not certain.

Scapanorhynchus texanus. The cusps on that one are remarkably well preserved. Rarely see them that good. Very nice specimen.

Been looking for a specimen from Montgomery for a while, this tooth is from the same time and place where my favorite dinosaur Appalachiosaurus montgomeriensis was discovered.

thanks for the help!
