My favorite things about fossil hunting: getting out of my own head, getting into nature and, if I’m lucky, finding some cool souvenirs.

Welcome to the forum.  Man, that absolutely has the shape of a shark's tooth; no doubt.  But alas, it is not a tooth.  While the shape is spot-on, the material is all wrong.  Fossilized teeth maintain the enamel on the tooth.  This curiously shaped rock has no enamel nor other features of a tooth (e.g., distinction between the root material and the tooth material).  But, I would have picked it up for a second look when I would have seen that shape.  In fact, having picked it up, I might even add it to my collection of great look-alikes, but-nots.
